Maggie’s at The Royal Marsden provides free cancer support for people with cancer and their family and friends, further enhancing The Royal Marsden’s world-leading treatment and care.
Maggie's centres are built in the grounds of NHS cancer hospitals, are warm and welcoming, and are run by expert staff who provide a full programme of support to help people live well with cancer. The new Maggie’s at The Royal Marsden is open to all cancer patients and friends and family of patients who are receiving treatment at The Royal Marsden or anywhere else in the region.
The new centre, designed by Ab Rogers Design and constructed by building company Sir Robert McAlpine, marks another step forward in the redevelopment of The Royal Marsden’s Sutton hospital. Maggie’s is funded by voluntary donations and it's President is HRH The Duchess of Cornwall.
Coming to a Maggie's centre can help you to make useful changes to your lifestyle. Our support has been shown to significantly increase your ability to cope with a cancer dignosis and treatment. You don't need an appointment and all our support is free.
