The Royal Marsden is a world-leading specialist cancer centre, pioneering the very latest in cancer treatments and technologies, as well as specialising in cancer diagnosis and education.
The Social Media Manager is responsible for developing our social media and content strategy for The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust and The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity in addition to supporting and advising on social media approach and content for The Royal Marsden School.
We have a growing, passionate audience on our social media channels, and we're looking for someone to build on this success and continue engaging our community in new and creative ways. These channels are not only a place for us to tell our story, but a wonderful space for patients, friends and family to also share their experiences and learn from our clinical teams and experts.
The post holder will manage content across multiple channels and platforms and possess a deep understanding of the content process through ideation, creation, publication and promotion, serving appropriate content at the right time to support the needs of our audience and to meet Trust and Charity objectives.
Responsibilities also include performing research on current benchmark trends and audience preferences; designing and implementing social media strategies and campaigns to align with organisational goals, setting specific objectives and reporting on results.
