How to be referred to Private Care (for UK patients)

Whether you have a diagnosis of cancer or you are looking for diagnostic tests, our team are here to help.

If you would like to be treated at The Royal Marsden as a private patient, please ask your family doctor or other consultants involved in your care to refer you.

Letters of referral can be sent to the Central Referral and Information Team who will direct your case to the most appropriate consultant for you.

Alternatively, you can contact the Central Referral and Information Line or complete the form below and one of the team will contact you to discuss your referral. The information you supply will be used only fo the purposed of your referral and according to our privacy policy.

Information needed for referral

In order to proceed with the referral, we will ask you for some more information about your medical history. This may include some or all of the following:

  • Cancer diagnosis
  • Treatments had to date
  • Current treatment
  • Current medications
  • Current test results – bloods
  • Current scans – CT, MRI, PET
  • Current histopathology report
  • Letter of referral (from GP or consultant)
