- 21 single en-suite rooms over three floors
- Private lounge
The modernised Granard House provides patients with a fully air-conditioned, comfortable and well-lit environment.
The ward houses 21 single, en-suite private rooms over three floors. Patients' needs are at the heart of the rooms' design, which gives the patient as much control over the environment as possible. Rooms are individually temperature controlled and have bedside lighting control. An entertainment system provides terrestrial and satellite TV channels, including foreign language channels, and wi-fi internet access.
There is also a lounge specifically for private patients who are being admitted or transported home.
Granard House is located at the end of the main corridor, which is accessed by turning right at the main reception. Alternatively, you can use the Wallace Wing entrance on Dovehouse Street and turn left through the hospital. The inpatient wards are on floors 2, 3 and 4 and can be accessed via the stairs or lift at the centre of Granard House.
We’ve worked with AccessAble to create accessibility information for Granard House.
