Biography

Dr Atra graduated from the Medical School, University of Baghdad in 1977, and arrived in the UK after finishing training in Iraq in 1987.

He trained in Paediatric Haematology and Oncology at the Hospital for Sick Children, Great Ormond Street and The Royal Marsden. He subsequently became a consultant and Director of the Stem Cell Program at The Royal Marsden in 1997.

He currently works as a Consultant Paediatric Haematologist/Oncologist at The Royal Marsden and St George's Hospital.
