- 17 single rooms with en-suite facilities
- 2 isolation rooms for haemato-oncology patients
- 1 consulting room
Wiltshaw Ward is Private Care inpatient ward with 17 single rooms with en-suite facilities. Two of these single rooms are specially designed isolation rooms which have the controls and conditions which make them suitable for patients being treated for haemato-oncological (blood) cancers.
There is also a consulting room where staff can discuss confidential information with patients and carers in private.
The ward has been designed so that the reception is easily accessible, with enhanced access control to improve security and ensure the ward is as peaceful as possible.
In addition, the ward boasts a light and quiet day room with a private balcony where patients and carers can rest or help themselves to a selection of hot drinks.
Wiltshaw Ward will undergo some limited refurbishment in 2016 to create five further single rooms, including three isolation rooms.
Wiltshaw Ward is located on the second floor of the Chelsea Wing. To access the ward, enter the hospital through the main entrance on Fulham Road and turn right at the reception desk. Turn immediately left and left again to enter the lifts and go to the second floor. Wiltshaw Ward is immediately on your left as you exit the lift area. There is access control to the ward, so please ring the call bell and one of our team will meet you.
