A newly refurbished ward dedicated to private patients requiring inpatient care.
- Eight single rooms with en-suite facilities
- One 'quiet room'
Markus Ward was fully refurbished and opened in 2016. The new ward is light and bright and offers en-suite rooms with walk in showers. Situated on the third floor away from the hustle and bustle of the main hospital, Markus Ward is a peaceful and tranquil ward with a dedicated team of highly experienced nurses to care for you.
The day room offers a secluded space to sit, and has tea and coffee making facilities for patients and their guests.
Markus Ward is located on the third floor of the Markus Centre. To access the ward, enter the hospital through the Wallace Wing entrance on Dovehouse Street and go straight on through the automatic door to the left of the Private Care Centre. Continue outside and the entrance to Markus Centre and the lift is on your right hand side. There is access control to the ward, so please ring the call bell and one of our team will meet you.
Alternatively, you can access this lift through the Private Care Centre. Please ask a member of the reception team to guide you.
We’ve worked with DisabledGo to create accessibility information for Markus Ward.
