This study day will aim to discuss how we can optimise nutrition, starting with the impact of a cancer diagnosis and treatment on neurological function, then taking a journey through the gastrointestinal tract, exploring how different cancer diagnoses may affect nutritional intakes.

People with cancer can encounter several barriers to meeting their nutritional needs, which can be multifactorial in nature. The study day will draw on expertise from our patients as well colleagues from allied health, surgery, and palliative care to explore the physical, psychological, and ethical considerations.

The study day is aimed at dietitians, nurses, doctors, and other health care professionals working with cancer patients. Training conferences are created for professionals.
