Imaging Perspectives 2019
The eleventh Imaging Perspectives course hosted by the Royal Marsden focuses on Tumour Response Assessment: RECIST 1.1 and beyond.

The course aims to outline commonly used and evolving response assessment criteria as well as an introduction to advanced imaging for clinical trials. Lectures will be supplemented with interactive voting.
Learning objectives include unravelling RECIST 1.1 and beyond, and increasing understanding of evolving response assessment criteria for all professionals involved in oncology.
About the course
The enormous complexity of drugs and clinical trials is taking us to RECIST 1.1 and beyond. This year's course aims to outline commonly used and evolving response assessment criteria with interactive case discussion and voting pads as well as an introduction to more advanced imaging for clinical trials.
Who should attend?
This course is designed for consultant radiologists and oncologists, specialist registrars, radiographers and all professionals involved in oncology.
Who's on the teaching faculty?
The faculty is comprised of world leading specialists from The Royal Marsden, Cambridge University, Guy's & St. Thomas', and Mount Vernon Hospitals. MINT Medical will host a lunchtime symposium with demonstration of software providing informatics solutions and the introduction of response assessment criteria into routine radiology workflow.
Where is the course?
The course will be held at The Royal College of Physicions, 11 St Andrews Place, London NW1 4LE
Morning lectures will cover RECIST 1.1, Modified RECIST 1.1, Immune response criteria and Imaging toxicity. Informatics solutions introducing response assessment into routine radiology workflow will also be discussed. Following the lunch break, we will cover Evolution of imaging in cancer response assessments, Imaging biomarker development, FDG PET/CT response and Functional MRI response. After a short break the day will conclude with Multicentre functional MRI in clinical trials, Assessment of response in bone metastases and It's not all about response: a clinician's perspective.

This course provides 6 CPD credits in accordance with the CPD Scheme of the Royal College of Radiologists. These credits are accepted by the RCP in accordance with AMRC principles of good practice. A certificate of attendance will be issued to all participants.
