Would you like to be a Governor?
Notice of Election: We are seeking candidates to stand in The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust Governor elections. Our Governors play an important role in the governance framework of The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust by attending quarterly Council of Governor meetings and the Annual General Meeting, in which they discuss key issues as well as the strategic direction of the organisation while representing the views of their members.
This year, the election runs from 12 March to 30 May, and there are opportunities to become a Governor in the following categories:
- Kensington & Chelsea and Sutton & Merton - Three vacancies
- Elsewhere in London - Two vacancies
- Elsewhere in England - Two vacancies
- Carer - Two vacancies
- Sutton & Merton - One vacancy
- Elsewhere in England - One vacancy
- Clinical Professionals - One vacancy
- Doctor - One vacancy
- Nurse - One vacancy

You must be a member of The Royal Marsden if you would like to stand as a Governor. Members of The Royal Marsden can vote in the elections for the member they would like to join the Council of Governors as their Patient / Carer / Public / or Staff Governor representative.
This year, the election runs from 12 March to 30 May, the deadline to submit a nomination form is on Friday 12 April 2019
