Climate change poses a major threat to the health of our patients, staff and communities. Taking action to reduce harmful carbon emissions will save lives and improve health, now and for future generations.

The NHS has adopted a multi-year plan to become the world’s first carbon net zero national health system by 2040, and we are committed to helping achieve this.

Positive progress is being made at The Royal Marsden in driving sustainable healthcare innovations across estates, transport, medicines and care delivery – but there is more that we can, and will continue to do.
