Faith and religious beliefs

The Royal Marsden has a team of chaplains who can provide spiritual care to patients, families and staff. There are also chapels and prayer rooms at both of our hospitals.

The Royal Marsden’s chaplains are from a variety of faiths and denominations. Church of England, Free Church, Roman Catholic, Jewish and Muslim chaplains are available to offer spiritual care for patients, families and staff.

Chaplains of other faiths can be contacted through the Chaplaincy if needed.

The hospital chaplains are here for you if you are a patient, visitor or member of staff, and whether or not you have a religious faith or belief.

Hospital chapels and prayer rooms

We have chapels at both hospitals which are always open and are available for prayer or as a quiet space. Services are held during the week and all are welcome to worship with us.

There are also prayer rooms at both hospitals.
