As part of The Royal Marsden’s commitment to excellence we have recently invested £25 million in expanding our leading-edge radiotherapy and chemotherapy facilities, now one of the largest in the country.
The Royal Marsden also has Europe’s largest Drug Development Centre. Over the next five years the hospital will invest £76 million into new patient facilities and services.
Radical new surgical techniques
The latest member of the surgical team at The Royal Marsden, is the da Vinci S robot. This ground-breaking robot is one of the most technologically advanced surgical systems in the world, using minimally-invasive techniques and enhancing surgical capabilities by taking surgery beyond the limits of the human hand. This results in faster recovery times for our patients.
