The Royal Marsden's Chelsea hospital is conveniently placed for all that London has to offer.
Medical Day Unit
The Medical Day Unit is a new facility catering to the needs of the private patients requiring chemotherapy or simply requiring an outpatient appointment.
The state-of-the-art centre was specifically designed to make patients as comfortable as possible. In fact, patients were actively involved in the design process.
The treatment areas feature comfortable electronic chairs with an entertainment system allowing patients to watch television, surf the internet, and talk to friends and relatives through individual telephone portals.
Our consulting rooms provide privacy should you wish to talk to your doctor or nurse privately. Patients requiring immediate care or having treatment taking less than an hour to administer can also be seen in the dedicated 'fast track' area.
Granard House
Granard House is our dedicated private wing for patients requiring inpatient care. It is currently being modernised and expanded to provide patients with:
- a modern, fully air-conditioned environment designed to the latest clinical standards
- more private inpatient en-suite rooms and an additional outpatient consulting room.
During this time, we are continuing to run the same excellent service as before, just in a different ward.
