As Europe’s largest comprehensive cancer centre, we employ about 2,400 staff in a diverse range of careers including nursing, science, administration, radiography, pharmacy and occupational therapy. Our staff work over two hospitals – one in Chelsea, London, and one in Sutton, Surrey – and a Medical Daycare Unit in Kingston Hospital.
Excellence in cancer care
Our staff share our aspirations for excellence in cancer care and play a crucial role in our ongoing achievements. Our ranking as one of the top NHS trusts in the country and our international reputation come directly from the hard work and successes of our employees.
In return we offer a stimulating and dynamic working environment and a wide range of staff benefits including childcare support, access to training and development and discounts on local services. We have also developed a number of policies to ensure our staff receive excellent levels of support. These include our flexible working policy, with access to flexible working advisers, and our Single Equality Scheme.
We have achieved practice plus status in the NHS Improving Working Lives programme and have been ranked first within NHS acute trusts nationally on the extent of positive feeling within the organisation, quality of work/life balance and job satisfaction. But don’t just take our word for it – why not arrange an informal visit to find out more?
