Inpatient survey results

Between October 2011 and January 2012 the Care Quality Commission (CQC) carried out a review of The Royal Marsden as part of its routine schedule of planned reviews. A questionnaire was sent to 850 recent inpatients, and responses were received from 494 of them. The review covered several areas of care and found that The Royal Marsden is performing ‘better’ than most other Trusts reviewed in the survey.

In common with most other NHS hospitals in England, The Royal Marsden levies car parking charges. Car parking charges in Sutton increased in June 2010. These were the first increases since The Royal Marsden first introduced car parking charges in 1996.
