Facilities for disabled people

The Royal Marsden at Sutton is accessible to patients and visitors with disabilities.

Staff at reception desks can answer any queries you have about our disabled facilities, or give you any assistance you may need.

Please try to let us know in advance if you think you will need additional support or information in a different way, or if you have any concerns about your hospital visit. You can either call us on the number given on your appointment letter, or contact The Royal Marsden Help Centre.

Wheelchair access

Access for wheelchair users is through the main entrance. The hospital has ramps and lifts allowing wheelchair access to all areas. Wheelchair-accessible toilets are also provided.

Hearing aids

The reception desk at the entrances of the hospital has hearing loops to help hearing-impaired patients. Hearing loops are available at most reception desks in wards, departments, pharmacies and the Help Centre. Telephone adaptors for patients with hearing aids are available in the Facilities office.
