The major advantage of online learning is that students can fit their study time around the demands of their work, as well as their home life.

Of course, you need to adopt a high degree of self-discipline to study in this manner, but we are fully committed to support you, particularly if you are unfamiliar with this innovative way of learning. We have designed our online courses to be easy to use, and our lecturers and administrative staff are always available to assist you with any concerns you may have.

Lymphoedema in Cancer Practice

Blended learning involves a mixture of online and classroom-based education. The first blended learning course we developed was Lymphoedema in Cancer Practice, which proved to be particularly beneficial to students who do not live near the School. The theory, anatomy and physiology elements are taught online, with the practical elements such as compression bandaging taught in classroom workshops.

Mesothelioma Practice in Cancer Care

We have also developed an online master’s level course, Mesothelioma Practice in Cancer Care. This module is taught entirely online, making it accessible to healthcare professionals around the world.

Forthcoming online and blended courses

In the coming year, we plan to make content from some of our other courses available online. This means that fewer days of physical attendance at the School will be required. The courses concerned include:
