Outpatient survey
In the Care Quality Commission outpatient department survey 2011, patients rated their experience of seeing staff at The Royal Marsden highly, with levels of overall care and the respect and dignity they were afforded among the highest in the country.
Patients were also happy with the amount of information they were given, the privacy for discussions and for the confidence and trust they had in the staff examining or treating them.
The Royal Marsden was rated among the best trusts in the country for tests and treatments received, answers to patients' questions and involving them in their treatment decisions.
