Biography
Dr Robert Self qualified from Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospitals in 1995 and completed specialist registrar anaesthetic training on the North Thames Central UCL and Royal Free rotation. He was appointed as a Consultant Anaesthetist at The Royal Marsden in September 2006.
Dr Self regularly provides anaesthesia for both major and minor adult oncology surgery including urology, gynae-oncology and breast surgery. In addition, he is Lead Paediatric Anaesthetist. He maintains his clinical interests in blood transfusion and coagulation as a member of the Hospital Transfusion Committee.
