Biography
Dr David MacVicar has been on the consultant staff of The Royal Marsden since 1990, taking on a variety of changing roles over the years. He is a Consultant Radiologist and the Clinical Lead for Radiology.
He has published and lectured widely on a variety of topics relevant to oncological radiology. He served for 12 years on the Editorial Board of the British Institute of Radiology, culminating in editorship of the British Journal of Radiology. He has edited and co-authored a textbook in the 'Contemporary Issues in Cancer Imaging' series, and makes regular contributions of chapters and review articles to major radiology textbooks and journals.
His special interests include paediatric oncological imaging, neurological presentations in the cancer patient, metastatic breast cancer, and head and neck tumours.
