Biography
Mr Niall Kirkpatrick is a Consultant Plastic Surgeon in the Craniofacial Unit at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital (where he is the lead clinician) and at The Royal Marsden, where he is a member of the Head and Neck Unit.
He is also:
- Honorary Clinical Senior Lecturer at Imperial College, London
- Honorary Consultant in the Head and Neck Unit at Charing Cross Hospital
- a past President of the Royal Society of Medicine Plastic Surgery Section
- a core member of the North West London specialist multidisciplinary team for the management of skin cancers.
After qualifying in both Medicine and Dentistry from Guy’s Hospital, Mr Kirkpatrick became a fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons and was awarded the degree of Doctor of Medicine (MD) from the University of London.
Training in Plastic Surgery, he obtained fellowships in Craniofacial surgery at both Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children and the Chelsea and Westminster Hospital, as well as in head and neck surgery at The Royal Marsden and aesthetic surgery at the Wellington Hospital.
Mr Kirkpatrick was accredited by the Royal College of Surgeons in 2001. He is on the General Medical Council Specialist Register for Plastic Surgery and is a member of the British Association of Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons (BAPRAS) and the British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (BAAPS). He has published extensively and gives lectures worldwide.
Mr Kirkpatrick is a Trustee and the Medical Director of Facing The World, a children’s charity set up by some of the UK’s leading craniofacial surgeons so that children living in the world’s poorest countries can have access to the best facial surgery and radically improve their life.
Mr Kirkpatrick works within a team of surgeons and specialist plastic surgery nurses in his private practice at The Consulting Suite, in central London, where he undertakes all aspects of cosmetic and aesthetic surgery, as well as reconstructive and craniofacial surgery.
