Biography

Dr Robert Huddart joined The Royal Marsden as a Registrar in 1989 and was appointed Reader in Urological Oncology and Honorary Consultant in Clinical Oncology at The Royal Marsden and The Institute of Cancer Research in 2007. He specialises in testicular, bladder and prostate cancer.

His research interests include the genetics of, and late effects in, testicular cancer and the management of all testicular cancer with a focus on improving outcomes in high-risk disease and minimising toxicity in low-risk disease. Other interests include the management of bladder cancer, with a special interest in the use of neoadjuvant chemotherapy and its role in selecting patients for conservative treatment, improving conservative treatment for invasive bladder cancer through the use of concomitant therapies, and the technical development of radiotherapy and imaging.
