Biography

Dr Imogen Locke is a Consultant Clinical Oncologist specialising in the treatment of breast cancer, lung cancer and skin cancer. She qualified at St Bartholomew’s Hospital, London in 1994 and her subsequent oncological training was in London.

She undertook research at The Institute of Cancer Research between 2003 and 2006, and was awarded an MD in 2008. Her research focused on the role of ductal lavage in the molecular risk assessment of women carrying germline mutations in the BRCA1 and BRCA2 genes who are at increased risk for developing breast cancer.

Her current interests include the development of heart-sparing radiotherapy techniques for the treatment of breast cancer, stereotactic radiotherapy for the treatment of early-stage lung cancer and clinical audit.
