Radio Marsden

Radio Marsden has been broadcasting to The Royal Marsden's Sutton hospital for more than 40 years.
Over the years, the station’s output has steadily improved and expanded; today, Radio Marsden is on the air 24 hours a day, seven days a week, with a broad mix of entertainment, hospital information and news. It can usually be found on TV channel 6 on the bedside televisions.
The most popular programme is one that’s been in the schedule since the station started – the patients' request show, which is broadcast for two hours each night and repeated the following morning.

Chelsea
Regrettably, it hasn’t been possible to listen to Radio Marsden at the Chelsea hospital since the fire in January 2008. The aim is to restore service as quickly as possible. A list of the equipment needed has been agreed and as soon as the station’s technical experts have the necessary bits and pieces, work can begin and new volunteers recruited.
