We hold Governor elections, where members of The Royal Marsden vote for the member they would like to join the Council of Governor as their Patient/Carer/Public/Staff representative.
The Trust has been seeking candidates to stand in The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust Governor elections. Our Governors play an important role in the governance framework of The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust by attending quarterly Council of Governor meetings and the Annual General Meeting, in which they discuss key issues as well as the strategic direction of the organisation while representing the views of their members.
This year, the election runs from 12 March to 30 May. The deadline to submit a nomination form was on Friday 12 April 2019.
Elections ran from 8 February to 6 April 2018 for a Public Governor for the Elsewhere in England Constituency. Results can be viewed below:
You must be a member of The Royal Marsden if you would like to stand as a Governor.
